..
I ended up filling this rack. I have had it (it used to hold my tapes--yeah--I did--I said it--tapes). Anyway, it has been repurposed, and now it holds my ribbon. On the top row are ribbons with words, the middle row is sports, and the bottom row is felt and velvet.
The white paper rack on the right is another rack that I just got today. I brought it home and cleaned it up. It houses my 8x10 metallic, satin, and vellum paper. I really like this rack. It is slender so it fits nicely next to my other paper holder, and it accents my speciality paper.
I am very happy with my purchases. I will probably paint the two wooden racks white,--but that won't be until summertime probably.
Another errand that I got done today was my B12 shot. Boy --did I need it. I have had no energy. Well, thank goodness I got that done.
I helped set up tables at a church that I will be scrapbooking at tomorrow. I also took some of my scrapbooking items to sell. Don't worry--I will still have my "Clearing My Clutter" party, I am just trying to weed out some items.
That's all for today. I hope you had a good and productive day. I will talk with you tomorrow. Until then...
This is me. This is my blog.
Looks good Deborah! Glad to hear you are selling some of your stuff too. Did you ever think of doing a give away? A lot of blogs do them and they help direct traffic to your site plus you could get rid of some of the things that are cluttering up your space. Here is an example of a blog site that lists all the blogs that are doing a give away. http://bloggiveaways.blogspot.com/
ReplyDeleteYou can click on some of the blogs to get an idea on how it works...I recently did a jewelry give away (even though I do not have a blog) on a home decor blog. People leave comments on your blog and you run it for a number of days. You can use random.org to pick the winner (I think you get charged for that though) or you can have your hubby or someone pick a name that left a comment on your blog out of a hat or something. It is fun.... Just a thought : )
Thanks Angela--I will look into that. I just briefly checked out the website and the give away concept sounds like fun. And you are right--it seems like I could get a few extra people viewing my blog.
ReplyDeleteAngela, how does it work --do people give me their address, so that I can send them their gift? Or maybe they give me their email or maybe they email me? I don't know, but it sounds like something that I want to do.
ReplyDeleteHi Deborah. Here is an example of a giveaway. This is one that I am doing in April for a blog.

This one that I am doing, the blogger, Aimee asked people to donate things. Her giveaway is a big one. Most people just donate one item. Since you are trying to clear your clutter, you can donate your own giveaway : ) You post the item you want to giveaway with a description. Most people run them from Friday to Sunday afternoon. Ask people (your followers and hopefully future followers/ readers) to leave a comment on your blog. That acts as their entry into the contest. It can be as simple as a random comment or you could ask them a specific question (ex: advice on clutter clearing or weight loss) or something you just would like to ask. Then at the end (when the giveaway time is closed) you randomly pick a winner and notify them via email. I think all followers of your blog are required to give an email. I think if you click on their picture it should show it. If not, you can post the winner and ask them to contact you to claim their prize and get their address. You could also ask other blog sites (ex: craft bloggers) to post your giveaway on their blog to get more traffic and participants.
Here is another blog I follow that is doing a giveaway. She actually won my earrings from another giveaway. That is how I found her : )
