Workout (1/27)

Up and Adam or At Um however you are supposed to say it. Let's get going and workout. Just take a small step. I will leave a comment on how my workout went for the day. But for right now, I am going to take small steps to the couch to watch an episode of Boston Legal with my husband. But don't you worry, I am thinking about exercise, and I hope you are to. I'll talk to you tomorrow. And remember, post your comment on what you did today. Even if you did not have enough motivation to do anything, post it. You will eventually feel the need to be acccountable like I did. Good luck.

  1. I made it to Curves early this morning. That's 3 days in a row!

  2. You are awesome. I will be leaving shortly to go to the Y. And you just need to do 3 in a week right? I give you a lot of credit, it is hard to make it 3 days in a row.

  5. Roxanne S. - I feel the same way. It is like we are working out together.
Roxanne-good for you. Sometimes what we eat is more important than how much we workout. I am so happy that you lost 3 lbs this week. --Good for you.

  6. Really like this idea of the work-out BLOG. In the morning before breakfast
I rotate my pilate and yoga DVDs daily- then I do the Biggest Loser The Workout-5 to 6 days a week (my goal, that is)--I almost always make it. But if there's a morning appt or shopping that must be done then, then more than likely I won't get any of the exercises done that day. I've been doing this for a long time, but lately I noticed sometimes I try to get out of it, which bothers me because I did this in 1997 when I totally quit the exercise bike and the floor exercises, then of course, started gaining weight. I didn't recognize in 1997 that the exercise was just maintaining my weight--so became discouraged because I wasn't losing weight, only maintaining it. I don't want to do this again. It really is so much easier to maintain the exercise routine than starting all over again.

  7. Which one do you like better--YOGA or PILATES? Are they good for reducing stress? Just wondering--I think I have some DVD's, but I haven't tried them. I did do a Pilates class once with my Aunt and I felt very out of shape.
